LOCATION REQUEST... do you have this
property?
We are a production company in advertising and we are seeking for locations to shoot a commercial. Our location should be a very beautiful, old and wild, almost subtropical forest, with big trees (a combination of pine and leaf trees can be perfect), very green and very mossy, rich and lively. The shooting shoot be the 7th and the 8th of June. We should shoot 1 day in the forest and 1 day on a location with an industrial-business city/harbour (?) on the background. So the forest can not be to far away from a possible second location. It would be an excellent idea to send us some photos to give us an impression of the possibilities before starting precise location hunting. Can we ask you to specify the area where the photos are shot, the name of the forest or the city in the neighbourhood, so here in Brussels, we can follow on a map which place these fabulous pictures are coming from. In attachment i send you some visual references that give an idea of the atmosphere and the feeling we are searching for in the commercial. hope to hear you soon and thanks a lot, pieter verhoeven PRODUCER

and the The REEL MADNESS FILM FESTIVAL
I thought this might be an opportunity for you and your membership. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Kamala and I am the founder of NuReel.com. We are hosting our first online contest for current and aspiring film professionals. I would like to encourage those of you who are interested in pitching a project to our panel of judges, to enter the Big Tease Contest. All of our judges are accomplished professionals in the film and television industries who are in positions to assist people in moving to the next stage with their proposed project, whatever stage that may be. We have a director, a writer, an editor, a development executive, an agent, and a film funder who are committed to reviewing the entries. (Some of their current and former employers include Norman Lear, Aaron Spelling, Fox, CBS, CAA, and NYU Film School.) It does not matter if you are at the idea stage or ready to go to market. I cannot guarantee that the judge will love your pitch, but I will guarantee that at least one of them will review your pitch, IF YOU ENTER. We are accepting open entries through February 14, 2001. If you need assistance polishing your entry, we have a team of seasoned editors and writers, who have been working successfully in the Biz for over 10 years, who are available to assist you in perfecting your presentation. The first round of entries will be written, then semifinalists will have the opportunity to publish a synopsis or video teaser on the NuReel.com web site. Contestants will be judged by the level of INNOVATION, INTRIGUE, or HIGH EMOTIONAL IMPACT. The winners will be highlighted in our marketing campaign to include off-line theatrical screening and print advertisements. There is an entry fee to cover administrative costs, but the return on investment will make it worthwhile. After all, how much would it cost you to get in front of someone with influence and/or launch a marketing campaign on your own? check out NuReel.com’s Big Tease Contest. http://www.nureel.com To find out more about the contest go to: http://www.keaproductions.com/bigtease2/conover.cfm OR go directly to the entry form at: http://www.keaproductions.com/bigtease2/btstart.cfm If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to email me at kamala@nureel.com.
