BULLETIN - Breaking Story! Palo Alto, California
Our friends in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California will be among the first home audience to witness television history...the premiere and television broadcast of the world's first "real and authentic" Crop Circle television commercial!
The revolutionary two minute spot dramatically and respectfully displays English Crop Formations and artistically showcases the Circle Maker's Art (as opposed to selling Buicks, beer or other products or as a means of co-opting and/or exploiting the Phenomenon as an advertising gimmick!)

Produced by the Mariposa-Pacific Research Institute, the awe-inspiring commercial features some of the very best moments taken from our Crop Circle documentary, "Something Wonderful Has Happened...But It Was Not In The News!"

The commercial features Peter Sorensen's mesmerizing digital, full-motion videography from the record-breaking 1999 English Crop Circle Season. The TV spot was carefully designed to showcase the Circle-Maker's Art and bring it to a new and wider audience. The unique commercial contains NO SALES PITCH(!) nor any of the usual advertising mantras that people have suffered over the years. Instead, we chose to use a dignified, respectful, understated tone to bring these historic events to peoples attention.

Even the executives at the television station were surprised by what they saw when we sat down to give them a preview. Even more amazing was the fact that they actually liked it! Our new Crop Circle TV commercial will be broadcast throughout the Bay Area region beginning on Thursday, December 21st on KICU channel 36 in San Jose. The ad will air during the day and evening for a period of one week (7 days). On Sunday, December 10th, our special preview audience at the San Francisco Tesla Society became the very first watch and enjoy the commercial. After it had screened, they greeted it with sustained and enthusiastic applause!

Thus far, no one in the Crop Circle community (or anywhere else) has utilized this method of conveying the magic of Crop Circles to the public before, probably due to the very high cost and high risk involved. (We are truley blessed with an Executive Producer who really believes in what we are doing!) The "Something Wonderful" commercial is our Christmas gift to the Circle Makers and to the public!

If we are fortunate enough to get the message across and do well, then we plan to purchase broadcast time in other metropolitan cities (Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, etc.) and run it again. If we meet with enough public support, then we will go nation-wide on the big networks. But until then, we are taking it one day at a time. We feel very fortunate to be involved in what amounts to a historic experiment in direct public response. We wish to thank all of our friends and supporters who have shown such enthusiasm for our Crop Circle documentary and our Northern California lecture series. Your kind words have certainly been welcome as well as heartfelt.

The Mariposa-Pacific Research Institute will be closed throughout the holidays. We wish you all continued health, happiness and success in the new year. May we all continue to be spiritually guided to make our unique contributions for the betterment of mankind and for Gaia - dear old Mother Earth!
Ian Christopher
