| I have read the Rules of the Vancouver
Island Film, Video and New Media Festival and agree to be bound by them.

understand is not refundable. The "Name of Entrant" used is the name that
will go on a trophy or certificate, if the entrant is a winner. I understand
that non-compliance with any of the rules may result in disqualification.

SUBMISSION FORMAT
All entries must be sent in one package. Do NOT send originals.
Films and videos: send a Standard ½" VHS copy. Prints: send best available unframed
copy (framed works are only necessary and will be requested only for entries
accepted for display at the festival) New media: send copy on CD or Cassette
ENTRY PACKAGE
The following Items should be sent with submission:
1. ENTRY FORM
2. Labeled video or CD.
3. Bio of artist or artists
4. Snapshot of artist(s)- optional
5. Synopsis of work
6. Entry fee in Canadian. funds if entry is from Canada, or in US Dollars if
entry is from America or other countries outside of Canada.
7. Make check or money order payable to --> do NOT send payment at
this time, you will be contacted for your payment upon acceptance.
Note: There ARE honorariums for
exceptional cases (YES, this means if you don't have the money, but
you got a great vid, etc., we may consider it)
