Royal Roads University - Hatley Castle
famous film location

Hatley Castle and the Royal Roads University campus was a site of the film "The Duke" filmed in the summer of 1998. It is also the site for the yearly music festival "Rootsfest" and the "Flower & Garden Show", among many other events.


It has been the site of numerous films such as: Masterminds, summer 96 starring Patrick Stewart (of Star Trek fame)
